I am slowly going crazy.. Crazy going slowly am I.

I have a million idea's in my head, so many projects I want to work on, challenges I want to participate in, a 2009 Art Journal I need to start, studio decor I want to create.. hell I am even cutting some publication deadlines close, but where the hell is the motivation!? Actually.. its not motivation I'm lacking; I am totally motivated (in my head) but then I sit down and nothing happens! Someone rescue me from this rut!

On the productive side of things, I did manage to get some new photos taken yesterday. I had to have an updated headshot to send to GAL magazine for their spring photoshoot, so I played around a little in hopes of catching one or two that would inspire a new layout or something. I have an idea for one.. see? Its an idea, but will anything happen once I sit down to work on it?

OMG! Looks like I am getting back into the swing of things just in time! Have you seen some of the CHA sneak peeks? I'll tell you right now.. I am crazy over embellishments! Paper.. meh! I have plenty of it but when you give me cutesy embellishments, I could lick you!

Now, you know the inner artist in me is thinking; "I can make these myself on the cheap!" and you know, I probably will. But these have given me some great idea's and I might even buy some to use when Im feeling super lazy and dont want to spend days on end making embellishments to adorn my page. Mmm, I lurve rainbows and cupcakes!

And while on the subject on felt-goodness, here are a couple of tool cozies I made back in 'o8. I have more tools now (go figure), so I guess I should get to making more!

Allow me to RE-introduce myself..

So.. for those that don't already know me or have forgotten about me over the last few months, I am Anissa (a-knee-sa). I am dreading my 33rd birthday next week and woke up this morning thinking "OMG!! I'm going to be 40 soon!" Maybe a little dramatic and obviously my math skills suck because 40 is still 7 years away... but I don't feel (or act) my age. I wish I could be 20 years old forever! My daughter (Micahla - 15) and I are often mistaken for sisters.. we share clothes, we gossip and laugh like best friends and we even have the same hair styles! I have piercings, a dirty mouth and can still party like a rockstar! Ironically.. Im still a bit old fashioned in my ways. I enjoy putting on an old apron and spending the day cooking/baking in the kitchen.. I clip coupons every damn Sunday which is becoming quite a chore and keep a blog of my savings here and I still provide for my family by doing my daily 'bitch duties' (cleaning, laundry etc.) Scrapbooking and everything artsy are obviously another huge part of my life, hence the blog (durrr).. but you wont find your grandma's style of scrapbooking here. I love to get messy and tend to just throw crap together until I am happy with the result. This can sometimes take an hour to accomplish or days. I was lucky enough to be a designer for Scrap Mojo last year, before my life started to fall apart (the whole ex mess) but Im over that and plan on finding a new team to join as soon as I can. I am sooo ready to do this!

I have a whole new outlook on life and I am determined to make 'o9 kick some serious ass!
